The engineer behind Beartronics

Beartronics was founded by Marvin, a hardware and software engineer, and is based in Meulebeke, Belgium. With us, you talk directly to the person who designs and builds your system.

Marvin's passion for music and electronics goes back to childhood. After studies in Ostend came eight years at Aptus, where a range of IoT products came to life. There Marvin learned not only to design a product, but also to produce, test and scale it, for clients in automotive, medical, industry and consumer.

Next came the aerospace sector, to learn to design for the most demanding environments, with a deep dive into MIL-standard EMC directives and qualification tests such as vibration and shock testing.

All of that experience now comes together in Beartronics: product experience in consumer, medical, space & defence, automotive and audio, complemented by software development, from firmware and integrations to websites and AI agents. Marvin is also IPC certified for soldering at IPC class 3 level, so we can lend a hand with production and finishing ourselves.
